Zeke
The name Zeke means 'God
strengthens'. To be strong is to have strength of some kind.
The strength that God has given Zeke is in his moral character and
his spirit man. Once he has allowed the Lord Jesus Christ to indwell his
inner man Zeke becomes a powerful man of God used as a mighty tool in
God’s hand to further His Kingdom. Physical strength does not enter the
picture so far as the interpretation of Zeke’s name is concerned
Zeke is as strong and tough as
he is determined to do what is right in the sight of God. He is not easily
swayed, in his opinions or judgments. He relies on the insight and wisdom he
receives from the Lord to help not only himself but also those who come to
him for help and advice. In himself, Zeke knows just how weak he is.
Any one would want to have
Zeke on their side when sides are taken.
Physically, he may or may not be a 'big man' but, on the inside,
where it counts, in God's eyes and in the eyes of those who love and depend
upon him, Zeke is a giant of a man.
