Victoria

The name Victoria means ‘victorious’. The Lord made it possible for us all to be more than conquerors because it says in ‘1Cr 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’. This simply means that when one allows the Lord Jesus Christ to have the ownership of our lives we then are able to be victorious in any and all situations in which we are confronted by the enemy.  When Victoria has given her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, allowed Him to have the ownership of her life, then and only then can He then make her become victorious in her life. The most important thing Victoria learns is not only how to overcome the wiles of the wicked one who has come to plaque her life that would hinder her in serving and living for her God, but to do so and become the inspiration for others to do the same.

Because of the meaning of her name, the Lord allows ample opportunities to come into Victoria’s life to use the skills that He has given her. Since God gave her and all of us our names with all their meanings and interpretations before He even created the world then she or anyone of us would surely want to know why. It is important to God and to His Family for Victoria and all the rest of us to live up to our names and overcome all the obstacles that come with them.  This makes it more possible for the Family of God/the Army of God and any other way you would want to name us to be more than able to overcome the enemy. In doing that it makes us, the Christians, cause the Light of God to shine so brightly that others will be able to see the way to answer the call on their lives.

Because of the meaning of her name one would think that Victoria would live a life of ease; that everything would come easily for her. And this could be true.  It also could be true that every thing is an uphill struggle for her. Each one has its advantages as well as it disadvantages. It is the mindset that Victoria has that makes the difference. If she has a positive outlook on life with the meaning of her name then she is a wonderful example for us all to follow. If she has a negative outlook then she truly does have an uphill struggle until she allows God to be her helper, guide, Savior, Strong Right Arm, etc. It all depends upon her and how she lives her life with God or without Him.

Victoria, with the power of God working in her shows that it is possible to live a victorious life. She most likely will be met head on with hindrances, obstacles and even limitations that will make it very hard for her to achieve her goals. But, as she works through the trials and hardships in her life she experiences a joy that few others ever know.  Just think, what joy there is when one wins a game, tournament or finishes first in a race. How much more when this sort of joy comes through doing what the Lord has called you to do, doing it well and by the doing of it you are demonstrating to others what the victorious life is all about.

1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
