Tonya

The name Tonya means 'of highest worth or praise'. Then Tonya would be "of great value to the Lord". If a person or any thing is of great value then that person or thing is kept safe, away from harm, theft or loss. The Lord keeps Tonya in a safe place, under the shadow of His wings, a place of refuge.

God calls many of His people to be big and strong, brave and valiant. Some He calls to be by His side. This is where He keeps Tonya. From this Tonya learns how valuable she is to the Lord and by His treatment of her, she learns just how valuable the rest of His children are also. We are all precious in His sight.

This is the job He has given Tonya, to show others their worth to the Lord. There are many who feel that they are worthless and that there is no purpose for them here on this earth. Tonya, coming from the presence of the Lord can assure them that this is not true. Those that have been in the presence of the Lord can testify of His great love. Tonya can do this, for this is where her spirit resides.

Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
