To hear is also the capacity to observe with the eye and take notice of what is not being said on an audible level. Simone, when she becomes a part of the family of God, gets a new way of listening. She learns to listen with her heart. Simone watches people while they are speaking. For this is how she interprets what they are saying. The lord sends people to Simone who need someone to be able to hear what is in their hearts. These people don’t seem to be able to open up and talk to just anyone. However, Simone appears to be able to hear what they are saying when they are not actually voicing the words. She hears with her heart.
Through studying God’s Word Simone gets a better understanding of
what is in the Father’s heart. Knowing His Word and His heart gives her
the discernment that she needs in order to help those whom the He sends to
her. This discernment makes her invaluable to God and to His Family. Psa 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people.
