However, when this name is looked upon through the blood of Jesus, as God sees him, Shay's name means one who is a true and trustworthy person. After Shay has given his life to Jesus and lives it for Him, those that know him know also that he is an honest and upright man. To tell the truth is a good thing and certainly also to be trustworthy. But Shay does more than that. He is a friend of friends, loyal, steadfast and true. However, he is more than a mere friend; he is the friend God sends when no one else will fit the bill. He stays to the end and he doesn't quit or give up when he believes a thing is right. Shay does more than just tell the truth, he walks it. Sometime issues get a little cloudy and Shay will help you see what is right. Some may think he is a little stiff-necked in his ideals. In Jesus’ time there were those who considered Him to be stiff-necked in his ideals also. Ephesians 4:24 . . . put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
