Then name Sebastian means 'venerable'. To describe a person as being venerable is to say that he is one who is honorable. very old and wise. Sebastian may not be old, at least in the physical. However, in his spirit man there is a wisdom that comes from the Lord that appears to be the wisdom of someone many years his age. Once Sebastian has allowed God and His Holy Spirit to indwell his inner man this particular kind of wisdom is imparted.

Life is too short to waste time on what Sebastian considers to be unimportant. However he also believes that life is also too short to not enjoy life at its fullest. Jesus said that He had come to give us life and that we might have it more abundantly. Therefore Sebastian doesn't believe in wasting anything that the Lord sends his way.

Tomorrow may be too late to take an action that needs to be taken today. This is wisdom and by this wisdom Sebastian sees when the harvest is ripe for harvest. He does his best to take advantage of the time in which the Lord has allowed him to live; the people He has allowed to be in his life; and the tools which He has placed at his disposal with which to get the job done.
