Rose

The name Rose means just that, ' a rose'.  The Lord has placed Rose in this world to be a sweet fragrance for those who need the lift that comes from smelling the wonderful aroma that comes only from a rose.  God created all plants for particular purposes and when Rose gives her life to the Lord she will find that her life as a rose is to give pleasure to Him and those He places in her life.

The life she lives before her God is pretty to see, wonderful to touch and lovely to smell. Rose expresses her love for God and those she loves by her life, not by her words.  Living for the Lord is not always a fun thing for Rose. However, allowing the Lord to "plant" her where He feels she is most useful, and bloom where she is planted, will enable Rose to find true joy.

When Rose feels that God has placed too big a burden upon her it would be well for her to remember that a rose's full aroma is released when its' petals are crushed. Roses may lose some of their fragrance once their bloom fades and their petals wither, but they never completely lose all their fragrance. Rose petals are what make the best potpourri smell so great.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service
