Rex

The name Rex means 'a king '. A king is one who exercises authority within a limited sphere. A king is one who, in a way is a protector or guardian, who gives aid to those who are in need and is also known to have a firm character. Rex becomes a king and a priest of the spiritual kind when he gives his heart and soul to the Lord Jesus Christ and joins the family of God.

In his part of the universe Rex is a man with whom it would be well advised to give consideration, especially when he is giving advice. Some may view him as being controlling or trying to direct other people's lives. But in reality, when acting under the leadership of the Lord, Rex tries to bring order into what is sometimes seemingly confusing situations.

Rex has a wealth of wisdom, discernment and knowledge that is garnered from above. His power and influence is not of his own and he would be wise to remember that and so too the people with which he comes into contact. Rex did not set himself up as a ruler, the Lord did. But to be a good and wise ruler, Rex has to exercise humility before God and man. In this Rex becomes one who can be of great comfort and strength to many and bring great joy to the Lord.

Pro 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. . .
