Raymond

The name Raymond means 'protector' and that is one who not only protects, but also guards and maintains the safety of the people or possessions placed in his charge.  In interpreting Raymond’s name it needs to be realized that it is the spiritual and or emotional part of  his name that is being studied.

     He pays attention to the smallest of details, for everything is important to him.  Others may see Raymond as maybe being just a little bossy.  It seems as though he must take it upon himself to see to it that things are taken care of and he will do it all if no one else will. He is a man that looks after and cares for those he loves, and anyone that the Lord places in his life.  Raymond even acts as a sort of shield, protecting them from harm if he can in any way possible.

   He is like a watchdog in a sense.  Raymond is able to 'sniff out' trouble, find its source and put a stop to it before it becomes a real problem.  He may even appear to be stern and unmoving to some that do not know him very well.  This is because Raymond takes life so very seriously, and not from a lack of love.
