A lamb is easily led and so is Rachel, in the Lord's hands, that is. Also, like a lamb, Rachel is innocent, not necessarily without sin, but unaffected by the evil of this world. At least in her spirit man, once she has given her spirit over to the Lord Jesus Christ to be changed into His likeness. To some she may appear to be unsophisticated. This is how the Lord would have her to be, gentle in nature, enduring injury or insult with patience and without resentment. She is not a saint nor is she necessarily saintly. She is simply one of mild temperament, one who does not act in a behavior that would be considered extreme. Moderation is the word for Rachel. Rachel does not allow anyone or anything to change her or corrupt her beliefs or convictions. She is extremely submissive, but usually only to the Lord. Not one to be bitter or resentful, Rachel strives to be at peace with everybody. She doesn't start disagreements and does not want to be involved with them, either. Meekness is seen by some as being weak but in truth, meekness is really great strength kept under control. With Rachel the old saying, "You can't judge a book by its cover" holds true.
