Psalms for Wives

V.1) The Lord is my husband (see Isa. 54:5) Because of His provision, I will not ever lack anything I truly need.

V2) He causes me to rest and be comfortable in my own home. Guiding me to a place of rest and refreshing He sees that I have no need of alarm for I am safe with Him.

V3) God renews and changes my soul, appetites, mind, my very being, desires, emotions, and passions to conform to His image. He leads my in the ways He would have me to go so that my life will give Him glory.

V4) Yes, even if I do have to walk through really hard times of the death of those I love, possibly my own, and other equally hard times, I will not have any fear of what the enemy may do for I know that YOU, my Husband, are with me. Your authority over the enemy and protection of me give me comfort and cause me to feel safe.

V5) You, my Lord, my Husband, have prepared and laid in order before me a king's table in plain sight of my enemies. You cause my earthly husband to prosper and to be anointed by Your Spirit and therefore I am saturated with Your goodness and plenty.

V6) Surely only the good, pleasant, agreeable things of Yours God, and Your goodness, kindness, and faithfulness shall follow me all the days of my life. For I will continue to abide in the household of Jehovah, the Existing One, forever.
