Mercedes

The name Mercedes means ‘mercy’. To have mercy is to have one of the attributes of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is compassionate, kind, forgiving and His heart is certainly full of mercy. He put Mercedes on this Earth to show a part of His mercy to a special few He has placed in her life. He has done this by giving her a disposition to be kind and forgiving especially once she has given her life totally over to His will.

In some ways the Lord has given Mercedes a hard path to walk.  There is much to overlook, forgive, and just plain put up with in this life. Not that her life is necessarily any harder than any other’s. The Lord does open her eyes to see the pain, sufferings and injustices done to others that others may not seem to notice however.

Mercedes may be one to be rather noisy in voicing her opinions about all the wrongs she sees and maybe even endures herself.  Or she may be very quite and introspective about it all.  But rest assured, Mercedes sees it all.  It hurts, down in her spirit, where no one can see but her and the Lord. And He touches these that are hurting, lonely or frustrated by and through her presence in their lives. 

1Peter 3:8  . . . be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, .
