The name Martin means 'warrior'. God would have all men to be
peaceable and to get along with everybody as much as is possible. However,
when dealing with the adversary the way of peace will not get the job
done. Therefore when Martin has given his life over to the Lord Jesus
Christ he first learns the peace of God.
If not given over to the Will of God Martin
could easily be a hot tempered man that settles issues with his fists.
But as he learns more and more of the Lord and His Ways he learns
how to settle things first on his knees, then he finds a more peaceable
way to get the job done. But that is when he is dealing with other people.
However there is an adversary that Martin has
to face. This adversary's mission is to thwart Martin and every Christina
in every way he can. Martin has learned many ways to deal with and defeat
this enemy. While in the presence of the Most High God he is endued with
the power he needs to be able to overcome the enemy. That is where he
learns his battle strategies and techniques. And because of this Martin
has proven himself to be beneficial to the family of God.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay
hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a
good profession before many witnesses.
