Mandy

The name Mandy is short for Amanda and means 'beloved'. Mandy may be greatly loved by those in her life but that love has no comparison with the love which God has for her. God loves all His children equally, He shows no partiality. However, He does choose to show a side of His love to some that few ever see. As Mandy grows in her relationship with the Lord and comes to know Him more and more, she displays this love by her actions.

There is a reason why God chooses to show this side of His love to Mandy. This is so He can show the world through Mandy what can be accomplished through an ordinary, everyday sort of person. Whether Mandy has any special gifts or talents doesn't matter.

She does have a willing heart. This is what is so very pleasing to the Lord. Because of this great love the Lord has for her, Mandy is able to show God's love to others. The word love is not just a noun, it is also a verb. Mandy shows her love by what she does, just as she experiences it from above. Mandy may be a very gentle, kind and loving person or she may have what some call 'tough love'. But however she shows her love, she does show it. It is an essential part of her being. Those that come to know Mandy come to know this.

Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.
