Lloyd 

     The name Lloyd means ‘gray’. Grayness is a symbol of wisdom. This is the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships, to have insight, good sense, head knowledge and judgment. Lloyd may have these qualities to some degree in his natural being. But once he has given his heart over to be governed by the Lord Jesus Christ and led by His Holy Spirit the Lord will cause him to operate in and to be known for his wisdom.

     Even those who don't know that he is a Christian will seek him out for counsel and advice. Lloyd may be a very quiet and withdrawn person or be very loud and outspoken. It makes no difference how he appears to others, more importantly is how he acts. When it comes to making firm, sound and really serious decisions, Lloyd is the one on which to call. He may flounder around and try to make light of a situation, but when it gets down to the wire, he will come through.

    Because Lloyd knows how serious some decisions are, he has to seek God’s face and make sure what he is ‘seeing’ is truly of God. . Without faith it is impossible to please God. It is faith in his God that causes Lloyd to seek His Face for His wisdom for his life. This is what makes him so dear to God’s heart

Pro 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
