Lisa

The name Lisa means 'God's oath'. An oath is a proof of the truth and/or security from violation or perversion of one's words. This is what Elizabeth becomes; proof that God’s Word is true and that Elizabeth will keep it safe from being defiled. That is, once she has allowed the Lord Jesus Christ to do His work in her life.

Some people know God's Word by studying it. Others by hearing it preached. Lisa does all these things too but she puts it in practice by living it. She may not be one who quotes scripture at the drop of a hat but that does not mean that she does not know His Word. God's Word says that He writes His Word upon the tables of our hearts and Lisa 's heart is no exception.

Those who know her well see that God’s Word is stored in Lisa ’s heart by seeing her be the sort of person one is glad to know and to have as a friend. She is there when you need her. Your secrets are safe with Lisa as well as your most intimate confidences. She is a trusted and valued friend.
