Lindsey

The name Lindsey means ' from the linden tree island '.  An island is a portion of land surrounded by water that could be a place of refuge to some. The linden tree bears limes.  The saying, "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and enjoy it" and the same goes for limes. Some people prefer limeade to lemonade.

Lindsey's' life before the Lord is the sweetener for the limeade and she is the 'aide' in the limeade.  She tends to be able to make the best of every situation with which she is faced in her journey in her life.  Lindsey is a person who can be counted on to be a help in a time of trouble.  She gives wise counsel on how to turn a difficult situation around.

Sometimes Lindsey feels that she is indeed an island, left all alone in the sea.  But she has learned through time that God never leaves her nor forsakes her.  She has learned to trust in that truth.

Lindsey does not struggle to find a way out of desperate situations, but rather, she seeks a way through them.  With the Lord's help she usually does.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
