Lewis

The name Lewis means 'famous warrior'. God's Word says for us to fight the good fight. This kind of fighting usually deals with the war that is waged in the heavens with the principalities of the air. Lewis, as a born again believer in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, is brought to the battlefront by the Lord Himself.

Lewis may seem to be a plain ordinary man on the surface. This is how the Lord would have him appear. The Lord sees past the outer shell of the human body into the spirit and soul where the 'real man' lives. This real man of the spirit realm, Lewis, is one with which no one wants to have to fight. He fights the ‘good fight’ as the Bible calls it.

He is not a saint who does no wrong and neither is he one who always does what is right. Lewis is, however, a man of strong convictions based on the Truth. So long as Lewis lives by and follows this Truth, he will continue to be a mighty man of valor, where it counts, in the sight of the Lord.
