The battles which are spoken of here have to do with the spiritual realm. Usually they are fought with words, either those spoken in prayer to God or those spoken to men. Because of the bold spirit God has instilled within Kelly, he can boldly go before people and tell them what is in his heart. As Kelly grows in and depends upon the Lord more and more, he grows in fearlessness and bravery before the enemy. Kelly usually finds life to be an adventure, he is a strong and fearless man.. At least, he is before God, standing in His will. He has a willingness to accept risks and cope with the new and unknown. God gives him the desire to go places and do things that most are a little reluctant to even attempt to try . Publicly Kelly may appear to be a little shy and reticent, but not in his spirit man. Through his almost reckless and daring spirit he is willing to go into those places and before people who are in desperate need of God's Word. God has given him this boldness because He needs brave warriors to spread and stand upon His Word. Also because of his example, others are willing to step into the battle alongside him.
