A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z Jerry The name Jerry means 'exalted by Jehovah'. To be exalted means to be placed in a higher position than was previously held in Jerry's Life. God does this. Before he gives his life to God, Jerry is in the same boat as all humankind, in the murk and mire of sin. However, when Jerry places his trust in God he then is lifted up to a place or position from where God can best use him. Jerry knows what it is like to be down and out as well as up on the mountaintop. Therefore he can tell stories that might stand ones' hair up on its ends and also, comfort others with accounts of how he has overcome trying times and obstacles in his life. It may appear to some that he brags about the things he has done. But in his spirit man, as well as in the natural, Jerry has faced and overcome many difficulties and just plain hard times. God knows the path upon which he has led Jerry, the valleys he has had to walk through as well as the hills he has had to climb.
