Jared

     The name Jared means 'one who rules'.  Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our ruler.  He sets the standards by which we are to live our lives.  God has chosen Jared to do the same in his own life that others may follow his example.

    A ruler makes decisions, not only in his own life but in others as well.  That may not seem to be what Jared is doing, but he is, nonetheless.  He does this by making some choices, right or wrong, and then influencing others to do the same.  Jared may or may not be conscientiously trying to get others to follow his example. However, the Lord has given him the ability, or even the anointing to do so.

     Those around him tend to do what he does, like he does and when he does. Jared can be hero or just one who rules with a hard hand.  But when he follows the direction of the Holy Spirit in his life, he exercises control in his own life by doing what he knows is the right thing to do. Jared is not wishy-washy when it comes to his beliefs or standards.

     When these are modeled after the principals of the Word of God Jared then has the favor of God upon his life.
