Jacqueline
The name Jacqueline is a feminine form of Jacob
and means 'supplanter'. Interpreted this means one who is untruthful and not
to be trusted. However, when looked upon through the blood of Jesus, as God
sees her, the name Jacqueline means 'one who is true and trustworthy'. To
tell the truth is a good thing and certainly being trustworthy is too. But
Jacqueline does more than that.
She is a friend of friends, loyal, steadfast and
true. She is more than ones best friend; she is the friend God sends when no
one else will fit the bill. She stays to the end; she doesn't quit or give
up when she believes a thing is right. Sometime, when issues get a little
cloudy, Jacqueline is the one who will help you see what is right and the
right way to go.
Jacqueline does more than just tell the truth;
she walks it. Some may think she is a little prim and proper in her ideals.
The saying, "To thine own self be true . . . “ holds true for
Jacqueline. Others may think she is all wet and a stickler for what she
believes is right. God has put these values within her. Jacqueline can't
help but walk the walk in which He has led her.
Ephesians 4:24 . . . put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.
