Hank

     The name Hank means 'one who rules’.  Hank is a nickname for the name Henry. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our ruler.  He sets the standards by which we are to live our lives.  God has chosen Hank to do the same in his own life that others may follow his example and ultimately to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

    A ruler makes decisions, not only in his own life but in others as well.  That may not seem to be what Hank is doing, but he is nonetheless.  He does this by making some choices, right or wrong and then influencing others to do the same.  Hank may or

may not be conscientiously trying to get others to follow his example.  But the Lord has given him the ability or even the anointing to do so.

When Hank follows the direction of the Holy Spirit in his life he is able to exercise control in his own life. Hank is not wishy-washy when it comes to his beliefs or standards. When these are modeled after the principals of the Word of God he then has the favor of God upon his life. 

Pro 25:28    He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
