Here, discussing the interpretation of his name, the freedom we speak of is the freedom Frank has in Christ Jesus. To be free in Christ is first to be set free from the bondage of sin, which is what happened as soon as Frank accepted the Lord Jesus as his Lord and Savior. One finds Frank to be a person who does not have his mind set in concrete. He is not indecisive in any case and it can be changed if given enough evidence for him to feel it necessary to do so. Frank has to feel it is his decision. Not to call him stubborn or hardheaded but more because he just will not do something if he feels he is being compelled to do so.
Being led by the Spirit of God Frank does not let other people’s
opinions bind him and cause him to make unwise commitments or obligate
himself to those who would try to take unfair advantage of him and entangle
him in unscrupulous affairs. As
he grows in his knowledge of the Lord and His Word he finds that others find
themselves relying upon him for his advice and council for they know that he
