"Floy "

     The name Floy means ‘gray’. Grayness is a symbol of wisdom. This is the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships, to have insight, good sense, head knowledge and judgment. Floy may have these qualities to some degree in her natural being. But once she has given her heart over to be governed by the Lord Jesus Christ and led by His Holy Spirit the Lord will cause her to operate in and to be known for her wisdom.

     Even those who don't know that she is a Christian will seek her out for counsel and advice. Floy may be a very quiet and withdrawn person or be very loud and outspoken. It makes no difference how she appears to others, more importantly is how she acts. When it comes to making firm, sound and really serious decisions, Floy is the one on which to call. She may flounder around and try to make light of a situation, but when it gets down to the wire, she will come through.

    Because Floy knows how serious some decisions are, she has to seek God’s face and make sure what she is ‘seeing’ is truly of God. . Without faith it is impossible to please God. It is faith in her God that causes Floy to seek His Face for His wisdom for her life. This is what makes her so dear to God’s heart
