A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z Faith The name Faith means just that, ‘faith’. Faith is, simply put, firm persuasion, conviction, trust in what is convinced to be true. The faith considered here, of course is the faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith, once she has given her heart to Jesus the Author and Finisher of her faith, finds her life to be a struggle in may ways. Faith is like a muscle in that it grows as it is tested. Faith can choose whether or not to face the challenges the Lord allows to come into her life or to just ignore them and hope they will go away. Of course they will not go away. If she does choose to ignore them, then they will grow to the point that it will take an enormous amount of faith on Faith’s part to be able to overcome. On the other hand, if Faith chooses to allow the Lord to work in her life, growing her faith little by little as He chooses, then nothing will be too great for her to handle.
In either case, once God’s will has been done in Faith’s life,
she will discover that He will lead others to her that need her to help them
overcome the obstacles in their lives. 1Cr 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
