I have prayed and sought the Lord Jesus Christ about names, their meanings, interpretations and applications to peoples lives for many years.  I am not the only person to claim to have a meaning or definition of peoples names but I have not so far found any place that will begin to tell you the things the Lord has given me to write about them. I do not just pull some vague meaning out of the air hoping it might fit. I sincerely try my best to give the meanings of names that the Lord gives me. Also, I do not claim to be the only and/or final answer on the interpretations of names. I search and search as well as pray for these meanings.  God has given great wisdom to many people in this area and I am grateful.

     I have been told several times that they felt I must have known the person in order to be able to tell so much about them. There have been some that think I do a type of  "fortune telling" but not so. Truly the Lord gives me the meanings, interpretations and even prophecy of a sort for each name. This is done through prayer to a God Who listens to and answers prayer. Just like any other gift of the Spirit, the interpretation of names comes through and by God's Holy Spirit. It can't be taught or bought. Only given by God.

     Also, I have been told that I have missed the mark by a mile. That the definition/interpretation of the name of someone they know does not seem to 'fit' the person at all. What is the explanation for  this?  I don't know.  Maybe the person we see hides his/her 'true' self from others. Only God knows what is in  a person's heart and in that person's 'true' heart and inner man.

     As soon as you contact me I can get the name print to you within a week usually. That is, if it is a name that I already have up on my site. If is not there already then I would have to research it and that could take a few days.  If for some reason you are not pleased with the product, either what I wrote or the background image, just let me know and I will do all that I can to make things right.

         Simply knowing the meaning of one's name may be interesting if all one is doing is merely searching for the meaning and nothing else. However, this does nothing, or at the very best, very little in finding the purpose and calling of one's life. It is my intention, hope and prayer that in the pages on this site people can come and find their name, its meaning, interpretation and possibly a help to seeing  the purpose for their life..
